Here I am relaxing in my Radio Cumbria Sport baseball cap. THEY ARE NOT AVAILABLE IN THE SHOPS, to the best of my knowledge. You can only get one if you win a competition, or, like me, know somebody who works there. When I wear it, maybe shopping in the Metro Centre or Gateshead Indoor Market, or perhaps out for a night in the Bigg Market, I get loads of people staring at me in admiration. Anyway, besides knowing someone at Radio Cumbria, I've met loads of famous people - as well as Dusty Bin (see Holidays page), I once saw Geoff (the colour says hot, the label says not) Banks at York Station, I also had the pleasure of seeing Anne Grieg, who used to be an occasional presenter on the Holiday program, at Castle Howard, in Yorkshire.
Actually, all these famous sightings were in Yorkshire, which is one of the reasons I like to holiday there. I've also included a picture of me and Cher sporting our Radio Cumbria hats - yes I know what your thinking, she's spent loads of money on plastic surgery and had loads of hits etc., but she can't pull as cool a pose as me. Don't worry fans, she stills looks ok, anyway I had her in stitches with some of my hilarious stories, especially the time I spent all day at work with my shirt and tie on backwards, and kept walking into rooms backwards, and get this, saying "Goodbye" when I went into a room, and "Hello" when I left. I kept this up for 5 hours, to everyones amusement. You could tell they thought it was hilarious, and had to keep saying "please stop doing that Marc."
